Memorial Day Weekend

It feels like we've been on the go a lot lately, so this holiday weekend we took the opportunity to just relax.  We spent a lot of time with family, and a lot of time by the pool, which is just what we needed.

Ella started waking up earlier than usual, probably because of the morning sunshine that still manages to peek through her curtains.  So we brought her into bed with us for a morning snuggle.  She quickly took over.

Early mornings mean more time to make breakfast frittatas.

A quick lunch before grocery shopping.  Ella was too distracted looking out the window to eat.

Pooltime!  Here she is waiting patiently for the sunblock to set before taking a dip.

Aaaahhhhhh...

It got pretty hot, so Remy decided to drink the icy cold water instead. 

Mia is always more than happy to sunbathe poolside.

Adam's busy work schedule kept us from going up to the lake, so we made due with our own variation of wake boarding.

We hope everyone enjoyed their Memorial Day weekend as much as we did.  We are grateful for the freedom and the liberties that we are privileged to have, and are eternally thankful to those that protect them for us.
