This is so late in coming, but HAPPY NINE MONTHS, GAV!
Just after turning eight months, you became a full-fledged crawler. By nine months, you started cruising and standing as much as possible, though crawling is still your preferred method of transportation. You are such the little explorer--getting into everything you can (especially your sister's toys). You celebrated your first Halloween and were quite the cute little shark. You started to point to EVERYTHING. I mean, EVERYTHING. Nothing goes unnoticed and you demand an explanation for what interesting object attracts your attention. You are vocalizing more and more and growing independent in your play and in your daily activities. You are now a professional self-feeder and prefer to put food in your mouth by yourself than be spoon-fed. You are an adventurous eater, enjoying a variety of tastes. Your favorite food by far is raspberries and you think sharing anything your sister has in front of her is only appropriate.
You are still napping and sleeping wonderfully (thank you!). Your favorite game is being chased (especially by dad) and you get so excited, that sometimes you stop and just shout and laugh and wave your hands instead of crawl away. You love playing with instruments (banging not he piano keys, shaking maracas, tapping sticks) and singing along to our songs. You are thriving at Gymboree, getting to know the other babies and taking advantage of all the fun things to climb and crawl on.
We are in a really good routine these days, and you never stop making us smile with your quirky antics. Your sweet personality has brought so much joy into our lives. Love you, Gavin!
